Who is responsible for your data?
Find Your Minecraft Server is run by Astroworld MC, a company registered in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce 42085812, VAT NL005484384B37). For any question about your data, email [email protected].
The server finder
The finder runs in your browser. Your answers are added to the page address, so you can share or bookmark a result. They are not stored by us and are not linked to you. We never ask for your name, email address or any other personal details.
Counting visits
A small script from this domain counts which pages are visited, which page or search engine sent you here and which host you click through to. It keeps a note of your visit in your browser's session storage, which is deleted when you close the tab, and it does not set a cookie. The counts go to our own analytics system, not to an analytics company, and are stored as totals per page and per day.
Session recordings
On about one in four visits, and on every visit from an ad or campaign link, a recorder notes how the page is used: scrolling, clicks, mouse movement and changes on the screen. We use these recordings to see where the finder or a page is unclear. Anything you type into a field is masked before it leaves your browser, your IP address is only stored as a scrambled key and recordings are deleted after 30 days. Search engine crawlers are never recorded.
Your browser can opt out for you: if it sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the recorder does not start. You can also turn recording off here, and this choice is saved in your browser:
Stored in your browser
- The currency you chose in the menu, saved in local storage so prices stay in that currency.
- Whether this visit is recorded, and your choice to turn recording off, as described above.
None of this is a cookie, none of it identifies you and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Server logs
Like every website, our web server logs each request: the page, the time, the browser and the IP address. We use these logs to keep the site running and to prevent abuse, and we delete them after 14 days. The site is delivered through a network provider that protects it against attacks and sees the same connection details for that purpose.
When you visit a host
The buttons below a result take you to the order page of Astroworld Hosting, Lodehost or Cheapest Minecraft Hosting. The link tells the host that you came from this site. From then on, the host's own privacy policy applies to what you do on its website.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what data we keep about you, to have it corrected or deleted and to object to its use. Email us at the address above and we will reply within 30 days. If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can also file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
