Which Minecraft server hosting is best for you?
The best Minecraft server hosting for you is a plan with enough RAM for your players and mods, a server close to where your players live and a monthly price within your budget. How much RAM you need comes down to how many players are online at the same time and whether you run vanilla, plugins, mods or a modpack. Five friends on vanilla need about 4 GB of RAM, ten players with plugins an 8 GB plan and a large modpack for four players 12 GB. The finder compares Cheapest Minecraft Hosting, Lodehost and Astroworld Hosting and shows the plan that fits, with its RAM, CPU, server location and monthly price.
- RAM and CPU matched to your players, plugins and mods
- Monthly prices from the host's order page, VAT included
- You order from the host directly, at the same price

Included with every plan
Minecraft server hosting with an AI Copilot
All three hosts we compare include an AI Copilot in the panel of every Minecraft server plan. You ask it in normal sentences what is wrong or what you want, and it reads the log, your plugins and your settings before it answers. It explains crashes, installs plugins and changes settings, and you can undo every change it makes with one click.
- Fix a crash It reads the latest log and names the plugin, mod or setting behind it
- Install plugins From a checked catalog of more than 500, in the build for your version
- Find lag Tick time, TPS, memory, chunks and entities in one check
- Undo any change One click puts back what was there, and a restore always waits for you
Each Astroworld Hosting server starts with 2,500 credits for the Copilot, and extra credits start at €5.00 for 25,000. Read what it does and costs at each host in Minecraft server hosting with AI.

Minecraft server requirements
How the finder picks your Minecraft server hosting
The finder picks your Minecraft server hosting on four things: enough RAM for your players and mods, a fast processor, a server location close to your players and a monthly price that fits your budget. These four decide whether a Minecraft server runs well. The finder checks all four against the plans of Astroworld Hosting, Lodehost and Cheapest Minecraft Hosting, and explains why it recommends the plan it shows you.
Enough RAM for your players and mods
A Minecraft server uses about 2 GB of RAM before anyone joins. Every few players add another gigabyte, plugins add a little more and a large modpack adds a lot. The finder counts the players online at your busiest time, not everyone on the whitelist, and picks the smallest plan that still leaves room. You can also work it out with the Minecraft server RAM calculator.
A fast CPU core for farms and redstone
Minecraft runs mobs, farms and redstone on one main thread, so a fast single core matters more than many slow cores. That is why the finder prefers the Performance plans, with reserved AMD Ryzen 9 threads and Enterprise NVMe storage, wherever they are available. Read more about high performance Minecraft hosting.
A server location close to your players
A server close to your players keeps their Minecraft ping low, because ping depends mostly on the distance between the players and the server. Poland is our first choice for players all over Europe, because the ping to Warsaw stays under 100 ms from across the continent, and Germany is a close second. Further away, the finder picks the location nearest to your players: the hosts we compare also have servers in the UK, US East, US Central, US West, Japan, Singapore, India and Sydney, and Astroworld Hosting in seventeen more cities from Amsterdam to New York. Compare Minecraft hosting in Europe with Minecraft hosting in the USA.
A monthly hosting price you can check
Every price on this site comes from the host's own order page and includes VAT. The large number is what you pay each month, and next to it we show the lower monthly price you get on a longer term. On the Performance plans the large number is what a new customer pays a month at the start, with the regular monthly price after it. On a tight budget, start with cheap Minecraft server hosting or Minecraft hosting under €5.

Minecraft server hosting FAQ
How much RAM does a Minecraft server need?
A Minecraft server needs about 2 GB of RAM for itself, plus 1 GB for every 3 players on vanilla or 1 GB for every 2 players with plugins, so most small groups need 4 to 8 GB. The total depends on how many players are online at the same time and what you run on the server. A modded server starts at 5 GB plus 1 GB for every 2 players, and a large modpack needs about 8 GB plus 1 GB per player.
For example, 10 friends on a Paper server with a few plugins need about 7 GB, so an 8 GB plan is a good fit. Our Minecraft server RAM calculator works this out for you and shows the plans that fit.
What is the best Minecraft server hosting?
The best Minecraft server hosting is the plan that fits your server: your number of players, your plugins or mods and where your players live. For most groups in Europe, the finder recommends a Performance plan at Lodehost or Astroworld Hosting. These plans run on reserved AMD Ryzen 9 threads, and a fast core is what keeps farms and redstone running smoothly.
If price matters most, the finder picks Cheapest Minecraft Hosting in Poland. Outside Europe, Astroworld Hosting has the most locations, from the US to Japan and Sydney.
How does the Minecraft server finder work?
You answer five short questions: how many players are online at the same time, what you run on the server, whether you play Java, Bedrock or crossplay, what matters most to you and where your players play. The finder then calculates how much RAM you need, picks the server location, compares the plans of the three hosts there and shows the plan that fits best, with its price and a link to the order page. For players anywhere in Europe the server goes to Poland, and elsewhere to the location nearest to them. Under Edit answers you can change any answer or choose another location yourself. How we choose explains every rule the finder uses.
Can I upgrade my Minecraft server plan later?
Yes. All three hosts let you upgrade to a bigger plan and keep your world, plugins and server address. Astroworld Hosting and Lodehost also let you move to a smaller plan. Your server restarts once and you do not have to set anything up again, so if your first plan turns out to be too small, you move up to the next size.
Which server location should I choose?
Choose a location close to most of your players, because the distance to the server decides your ping. A server in Poland works well for players all over Europe: the ping to Warsaw stays under 100 ms from across the continent, it has the fastest processor on our list, and Germany is a close second. US East covers the east coast and a large part of Canada, and US West is the best choice for the Pacific side. Players in Asia or Australia should pick a server on their own continent: Astroworld Hosting has servers in Japan, Singapore, India and Sydney.
Which hosts does the finder compare?
Three hosts: Astroworld Hosting, Lodehost and Cheapest Minecraft Hosting. For every plan we take the price, the processor and the locations from the host's own order page, so what you see here is what you pay there. If a host changes a price, we update this site to match.
The three hosts are built for different players. Cheapest Minecraft Hosting is the budget option, Lodehost offers simple plans in the middle, and Astroworld Hosting has the most locations and the widest choice of plans. The finder sends you to the one that fits your server, and how we choose explains every rule.
Is there a Minecraft server hosting discount for new customers?
Yes. Astroworld Hosting and Lodehost give new customers 60% off on their Performance plans in Poland and 20% off in Germany, on their first two servers. At Astroworld Hosting it covers the first 3 months when you pay monthly, or the whole first payment on a 6, 12 or 24 month term, so an 8 GB Performance server in Warsaw costs €6.38 a month for 3 months and then €15.95 a month. At Lodehost it covers the first payment, monthly or on a longer term. Cheapest Minecraft Hosting has no welcome discount: it charges the same €0.80 per GB of RAM on every term. Read more about high performance Minecraft hosting.
Which Minecraft hosting comes with a free website?
Astroworld Hosting and Lodehost include a free website with every Minecraft server plan from 8 GB of RAM. You build it in the server panel from ready-made sections, and it shows your server address, version and players online by itself. Cheapest Minecraft Hosting does not include a website. Our page on the free Minecraft server website lists the plans that have one.
Do I pay more if I order through this site?
No. The button opens the host's own order page with your plan, location and edition already filled in, at the same price the host charges everyone else. You pay the host directly.
