Standard, Performance and budget Minecraft hosting plans explained

The standard line runs on shared processor cores with SSD storage. The Performance line reserves threads of an AMD Ryzen 9 for your server, a 5900X in Germany and a 7950X with DDR5 in Poland, with Enterprise NVMe storage. The budget line at Cheapest Minecraft Hosting shares a 7950X and includes one backup instead of daily backups. Read more about the differences in high performance Minecraft hosting.

Which Minecraft host has servers near your players?

  • Europe: all three hosts, and Poland is our first choice for players anywhere on the continent. Cheapest Minecraft Hosting runs in Poland only. Lodehost and Astroworld Hosting have standard servers in Germany and the United Kingdom, and their Performance line runs in Poland and Germany. Astroworld Hosting also runs its standard line in Warsaw and fourteen more European cities, from Amsterdam and Paris to Helsinki and Istanbul.
  • North America: Lodehost and Astroworld Hosting, in US East, US Central and US West. Astroworld Hosting adds New York, Manassas in Virginia and Beauharnois in Quebec.
  • Asia and Australia: only Astroworld Hosting, with servers in Japan, Singapore, India and Sydney.

Host your server close to most of your players, because the distance to the server decides the ping. The finder does this for you: it puts the server in Poland when the ping from your players stays under 100 ms, and otherwise in the location nearest to them. Our guides to Minecraft hosting in Europe, the USA, Asia and Australia compare the locations in detail.

Java, Bedrock and crossplay hosting at each host

Cheapest Minecraft Hosting runs Java, Bedrock and crossplay on every plan, at the same price per GB. Astroworld Hosting has separate Java, Bedrock and crossplay plans on both lines, with Bedrock plans from 2 GB. Lodehost offers Java and crossplay plans. A crossplay server runs Java with Geyser, so players on Java and Bedrock can play in the same world. Read more about Bedrock server hosting and crossplay Minecraft server hosting.
