How much RAM does an ATM10 server need?
An ATM10 server needs about 13 GB of RAM for five players, 18 GB for ten players and 28 GB for twenty. All the Mods 10 loads more than 400 mods when the server starts, so it needs about 8 GB before anyone joins, and every player adds about 1 GB for the modded chunks, machines and mobs around them. That is the rule our finder uses for large kitchen-sink packs, and it sits at the careful end on purpose: an ATM10 server that runs out of memory does not slow down, it crashes.
| Players online | RAM needed | Plan size | Lowest price for that size |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 to 5 | 13 GB | 16 GB | CheapestMinecraftHosting Pro, €12.80 a month in Poland (Warsaw) |
| 6 to 10 | 18 GB | 24 GB | CheapestMinecraftHosting Crew, €19.20 a month in Poland (Warsaw) |
| 11 to 20 | 28 GB | 32 GB | CheapestMinecraftHosting Guild, €25.60 a month in Poland (Warsaw) |
Astroworld Hosting, which has a page for every popular modpack, lists ATM10 at 8 GB for up to five players, 10 to 12 GB for five to ten and 16 to 24 GB for larger groups. Those are the numbers a server starts and runs on when players stay close together. Our numbers leave room for what happens a few weeks in, when every player has a base full of machines in a different part of the world.
ATM10 server requirements: CPU, storage and Java
Besides RAM, an ATM10 server needs a fast processor core, NVMe storage and Java 21. The core matters because Minecraft runs the world on one main thread: every Mekanism machine, every Applied Energistics 2 drive and every pipe is worked out on that thread twenty times a second. With ten players and ten bases that becomes thousands of block entities, and a shared core starts to fall behind. The Performance lines of Astroworld Hosting and Lodehost give your server reserved Ryzen 9 threads for exactly this.
Storage matters because ATM10 adds custom biomes, structures, ores and whole dimensions, so every new chunk carries more data than in vanilla. When players explore, the server writes that data straight to disk, and slow storage shows up as lag spikes at the edge of the map. The Performance plans run on Enterprise NVMe. Java is picked for you: Minecraft 1.21.1 runs on Java 21, and all three hosts set it from the version you choose.
How to make an ATM10 server
You can make an ATM10 server in four steps, and with a one-click installer none of them needs a file from your own computer:
- Order a plan with enough RAM for your group, 16 GB or more for up to five players, and pick NeoForge as the server software, or let the modpack installer set it.
- Install the pack from the panel. Astroworld Hosting and Lodehost install modpacks in one click from CurseForge, Modrinth and Feed The Beast, and Cheapest Minecraft Hosting from its Mods tab. Pick the same ATM10 version your friends have in their launcher.
- Start the server and wait. The first start of a 400-mod pack takes several minutes while every mod sets itself up. Wait until the console says Done.
- Give your players the address. They install All the Mods 10 in the same version from the CurseForge app or another launcher, and join.
ATM10 server pack: where to get it and how to install it
The ATM10 server pack is the set of server files the pack team publishes next to every release on CurseForge, without the client-side mods that would crash a server. A one-click installer in the host's panel downloads exactly that pack for the version you pick, so you do not have to upload anything. If you install by hand, take the server files of the same version your players use, upload them through the file manager and start the server once to let it unpack. A mismatched version is the most common reason players cannot join.
How to make an ATM10 server run better
To make an ATM10 server run better, deal with the load first and buy more RAM last:
- Pre-generate the world before your players spread out, so the server is not generating modded chunks while they explore.
- Set a limit on chunk loaders. Most chunk-loading mods in ATM10 have a per-player maximum in their config. One huge base kept loaded all night can slow down everyone else.
- Restart once a day. A scheduled restart at night clears memory that large packs slowly fill up.
- Find the real cause with a profiler such as spark before you buy more RAM. If memory is free and the server still lags, the processor is the limit, not the plan size.
Best ATM10 server hosting plans
The best ATM10 server hosting for a group of five is a 16 GB plan, and for this pack a fast, reserved processor is worth more than extra memory.
For 2 to 5 players with a large modpack on Java in Poland (Warsaw), the finder recommends Astroworld Hosting Advanced Performance: 16 GB, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, DDR5, for €40.95 a month when you pay monthly. As a new customer you pay €16.38 a month for the first 3 months, 60% off. The best plans at the other two hosts are Lodehost Premium at €46.95 and CheapestMinecraftHosting Pro at €12.80.
| If you want | Host and plan | Memory | Processor | Location | Per month |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lowest price | CheapestMinecraftHosting Pro | 16 GB | AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, DDR5 | Poland (Warsaw) | €12.80 |
| Balanced | Astroworld Advanced Performance | 16 GB | AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, DDR5 | Poland (Warsaw) | €40.95 (€36.95 on 24 mo) New customers: €16.38 a month for the first 3 months, 60% off |

For an ATM10 server we look at the Performance line first, because this pack runs out of processor time before it runs out of memory. Astroworld Advanced Performance gives you 16 GB with reserved Ryzen 9 threads for €40.95 a month. On a tight budget, CheapestMinecraftHosting Pro has the same 16 GB on a shared Ryzen 9 7950X for €12.80, and CheapestMinecraftHosting Crew with 24 GB costs €19.20. For other packs, see Minecraft modpack server hosting, and for the Forge 1.20.1 version of the same idea, ATM9 server hosting.
